Articling Student
As my job title may suggest, I’m just beginning my career at Brown Lawyers. While my objective is to become a full practicing lawyer in the near future, my goal is to maintain the mindset of a student. I strive to constantly learn new things about the world and connect with everyone around me. Whether that’s sharing a laugh with a stranger, hearing about a friend’s new favourite book, or travelling to a place on my bucket list, a constant effort to connect and engage with the world around me allows me to maintain the mindset of a student long after the final bell has rung. So, when you visit the office next, please offer any fun facts you may have and share any stories you’d like to share.
In my spare time, I enjoy seeing movies at small independent theatres, going to local trivia nights, and getting too emotionally invested in the success of the Toronto Blue Jays and the Buffalo Bills. You are more than welcome to ask me about any of these activities but be warned: I will likely delve into an impassioned rant.
“Be curious, not judgmental.”
LEGAL COACHES FOR LIFE
You don’t need to feel like you’re unqualified to make decisions about your own life, and you never need to go it alone. As lawyers, we understand the law and what it means to be thorough, complete and up-to-date with legal needs. As coaches, we put you at the core of everything, not only your legal work. You get caring support and guidance, not rigidity and bureaucracy.

KEEP YOUR LIFE FRONT OF MIND
Things can get hectic. Even just the thought of another newsletter might sound overwhelming. If you’d appreciate a reminder that living your life with purpose has value, we create a newsletter to occasionally bring those ideas back to the front of your mind. You might find that checking in more regularly makes things feel less daunting.
